Born in the Netherlands Michael Zegers studied architecture at the University of Technology in Delft. As an architect he worked in England, Spain and Germany. After being awarded a scholarship for photography by the Art Foundation "Fonds BKVB" in Amsterdam in the 90s, he established himself as a photographer as well. Since several years he lives and works in Frankfurt now.
