Über das Buch
Formerly a car and passenger ferry built in 1964 to serve the remote islands of Scotland, Hebridean Princess was converted into a cruise ship in 1989. Today, the vessel provides a truly one-of-a-kind cruise experience, with visits to the highlands and islands ignored by most cruise lines, one-off shore excursion events, and an open bridge where guests can look over the captain’s shoulder to peruse the navigational charts. And, Hebridean Princess carries just 50 passengers.
Sail with us through the British Isles aboard a magical little ship, the Hebridean Princess, with David and Pat, Brian and Linda, and David and Anthony, along with a cheery crew that looked after us ever so sweetly.
Our memorable week in June 2016 took us hither and yon through the North Channel and Irish Sea, to the islands of Islay, Jura, and Raithlin, plus a visit to a beautiful country estate in Northern Ireland and a circum- navigation of the Isle of Man.
Oh, and some whiskey was sampled for good measure.
