Michael Davidson is a young photographer based in the North East of England who discovered his passion for photography through artists such as Brassai, Eugene Smith and Philip Jones-Griffiths.
Always drawn to the genre of documentary, Michael was intrigued to discover the extraordinary within the ordinary, particularly on a local level.
Working in Sunderland, Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees, he continues to record the local society, in an ever changing environment.
Since recently graduating from the University of Sunderland, Michael is aiming towards gaining commissions and working on further regional projects.
