Gudrun Thielemann's deep interest in the topic of "Man and Space" was determined while collaborating with Swedish Architect Staffan Strindberg. After a 20 years experience in the world of moving pictures, where she had worked as a freelance vision mixer in music programs, opera and theatre projects, television plays and drama series, she decided to make photography her professional life. She lives together with her husband, the writer and photographer Urs Bernhard, on the swedish island Öland.
