The students in this kindergarten class were given a multitude of photographs of Gra’Nola in various settings. As a class, the students looked at each photograph and decided what corresponding letter sound could be assigned to an object within the photograph. This continued until the entire alphabet was complete. This resulted in many selections for each letter. Each student was then given one or more letters and picked their favorite photograph of Nola with the corresponding sound/symbol. The student then wrote the letter, the word or a sentence with the word, depending on their own level of ability. Those selected are present in this alphabet book to be shared with others.
